The Feedback tab learns to wait its turn

Holiday calendars are wide. Phones are not. On Thursday we taught the Feedback tab some manners.

Room for the months, then Feedback

On a phone, every holidays country page shows a year of months. The Feedback tab used to sit on the right edge the whole time, which pinched the calendar just when you wanted a bit more sideways room.

It still lives in the same spot on the right. It just stays out of sight until you scroll to the end of the year. Finish December, and there it is. Scroll back up, and it ducks away again. Same button, same dialog — only the timing changed.

Analytics that wait for a yes

In the EU, UK and Switzerland, Time of Meeting no longer loads Google Analytics until you tap Accept on the cookie bar. The consent script is the only thing that may load the tracker. Refuse, and the page stays quiet about you. Same idea, same night, on One Tap QR.

Meanwhile on ElNinoTrack

Thursday also put a new English piece live: Florida’s Space Coast and the Four Corners floods set next to NOAA’s latest Pacific numbers, with the rulers labelled so “record” headlines don’t get mixed up. Spanish, Portuguese and Indonesian follow the usual path.

Try it

Open US holidays for 2026 on your phone, scroll through the year, and watch the Feedback tab appear when December is done.
