About Time of Meeting
A free, simple planner for one question: what time works for everyone?
When people work in different cities, finding a meeting time means juggling time zones, daylight saving changes and the date line. Time of Meeting puts every city on one screen. You drag a single line, and each city shows its local time, its date and whether that hour is inside normal work hours.
What it does
- Shows the local time and date in each city you add, side by side.
- Colours every hour: green for work hours (9:00–17:00), orange for early or late hours (7:00–9:00 and 17:00–19:00), red with stripes for night.
- Lets you share the exact time as a link, add it to Google Calendar or another calendar app (.ics file), or copy a ready-made proposal to paste into a chat or email.
- Follows each city's official time-zone rules, including daylight saving time on the date you pick.
How it is built
Time of Meeting is a single web page. It runs in your browser and needs no account or app. Time-zone maths uses the Luxon library and your browser's built-in time-zone data. City search uses data from GeoNames (CC BY 4.0). The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages.
Your cities and preferences stay in your own browser. The privacy page explains exactly what is stored and where.
