Time of Meeting knocks on Claude's door
Sunday is supposed to be a day of rest. Time of Meeting didn't get the memo.
We applied to Claude's Connectors Directory
Time of Meeting already works inside AI assistants: connect timeofmeeting.com/mcp and your assistant can find a time that suits people in different time zones, check public holidays, and hand you a shareable meeting link. On Sunday we sent it to Anthropic's Connectors Directory, the list Claude users browse when they want to plug in a new tool. It's under review now. We'll let you know when the doors open (or when we're asked to wipe our shoes first).
Getting the paperwork in order
Directories like tidy applicants, so we tidied:
- Every tool has a proper title now. Instead of a bare internal name, your assistant sees a clear label for each of the tools it can call. It's a small thing, like putting labels on the kitchen drawers, but everyone finds the spoons faster.
- Terms of use. The site now has a short Terms page, linked in the footer. It's written to be read, not to be scrolled past.
- A proper icon. Our app icon is now served in the size directories ask for, so we show up as a logo rather than a grey square.
Fixes you might actually notice
- Holiday-aware scheduling stopped tripping over itself. Asking for the best meeting time while skipping public holidays could fail with a cryptic error. That's fixed, and when something does go wrong, the error message now tells you what happened in plain words.
- Clearer holiday data. The tool now says where its public holiday information comes from, so you know what you're relying on.
- Easier to read. We raised the text contrast in the planner to 7:1 in both light and dark themes. Your eyes, at 7 a.m. before coffee, are welcome.
- Tidier replies. We cleaned up the wording in the assistant's suggestions and meeting links, including a sad case of brackets inside brackets (inside brackets).
